These photos, taken by a Tucson Citizen photographer in the 1950s, captured moments in time on an average day at Congress Street and Scott Avenue in downtown Tucson.

The photos captured the spirit of great street photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Frank. Was the photographer thinking along those lines? We'll never know.
