PHOENIX — An Arizona State Mental Hospital security guard has been arrested after a woman found bags filled with child pornography in the trash at a Glendale apartment complex.
The bags contained a broken laptop computer, flash drives and images of naked boys.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the apartment complex Sunday after the woman found the bags, KTVK-TV reports. They later searched the home of Roger James Forney after linking him to the items.
Forney was booked into jail on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer yet.
Forney reportedly admitted that he had tried to destroy the photos after an FBI warning locked his computer.
