BULLHEAD CITY — The Mayor of Bullhead City isn’t holding back his feelings about a morning radio team.
Mayor Jack Hakim used City Council time to lash out at three members of KTOX radio. Hakim referred to radio hosts Dave Hayes, Frank Costigan, and frequent guest Bridget Lewison as “three lowlifes,” and “stupid idiots,” the Mohave Daily News reports.
Hakim is upset over a family photo taken off his Facebook site and placed on a Twitter page called “Fake Hakim,” with a caption accusing Hakim of groping his 9-year-old granddaughter.
The mayor also accused them of altering Twitter messages from a handful of community and business leaders to make it appear they were making derogatory statements about him.
Lewison says she doesn’t have an active Twitter account and is sure it’s not the two other hosts of the show attacking the mayor.
