PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona congressman Paul Gosar has announced a memorial service in Prescott for the 19 firefighters killed in the Yarnell wildfire.
Gosar says the service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The Republican congressman already was in Prescott for a scheduled field hearing on IRS abuse and EPA overreach that was supposed to be held at Embry-Riddle.
Gosar says that event now is cancelled.
He says the memorial service is open to the public and donations will be collected for the fire victims.
