Police say a man has been found dead in Phoenix and his boyfriend is suspected of killing him.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson says 37-year-old Damon Lancaster was found dead in his home shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday.
He says police have ruled the manner of death a homicide, but the actual cause will be determined by the medical examiner's office.
Thompson says that during the investigation, officers located Lancaster's boyfriend, 25-year-old Christopher Armendariz, near the scene.
He says investigators believe Armendariz and Lancaster got into a physical altercation Friday that caused Lancaster's death.
Armendariz was booked into the Maricopa County jail on suspicion of murder.
