GILA BEND, Ariz. — Authorities say Interstate 8 is closed west of Gila Bend because of a fatal accident.
The state Department of Public Safety says a vehicle rolled and caught fire Tuesday morning, killing at least one person.
Additional information on the accident is not immediately available, and a DPS spokesman says there's no estimate on when I-8 will reopen.
Interstate 8 is the main route between Arizona and San Diego.
