Time-lapse of gigantic Giannis Antetokounmpo mural
You can now watch the three-story mural of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo go up in about a minute in a new video. Dan Nelson, Jr. owns the building and his business Nelson Schmidt Inc. created the time-lapse of the photo realism mural done by artist Mauricio Ramirez. The mural honors the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player who helped the Bucks to the 2021 championship, their first title in 50 years. The building's owner and the business district approached the team about the mural and then they all hurried to make it happen during this year's NBA playoffs. The project took about two weeks. Ramirez started April 25 and finished May 8. It's along Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.
