The secrets behind the costumes of Ukraine's Eurovision champions
As the UK city of Liverpool prepares to host Eurovision Song Contest, all eyes are on the music competition which celebrates a love of the tacky, the kitsch, the traditional and the downright bizarre. Last year saw a particularly sentimental win, with the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra scoring highest in the contest with their song "Stefania." Their costume designer, Roksolyana Shymchuk's, explains why the award meant so much for the country and also for traditional Ukrainian costumes.
