Photos: Meghan, Prince Harry present royal newborn Archie to public
Prince Harry and Meghan have named their son Archie. Buckingham Palace says that the baby's full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The palace made the announcement hours after the couple posed with the two-day-old for the media. He also met his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, for the first time.
He is the queen's eighth great-grandchild and is seventh in line to the British throne.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan officially make the transition Tuesday to being non-working members of the royal family.
A new book focuses on months of British palace intrigue leading to a decision by Prince Harry and the former Meghan Markle to step back from royal duties. Plus, galleries look back at the wedding and baby, and Harry through the years.
The baby will be eighth in line to the British throne.
Allies of Britain's royal family pushed back Saturday against claims made by Prince Harry in his new memoir, which paints the monarchy as a cold and callous institution that failed to nurture or support him.
A statement issued by the couple Wednesday also said they intend to “balance” their time between the U.K. and North America.
