At the Wilmot library there is a disposal site for tattered, worn or damaged flags run by the Daughters of the American revolution.
With Flag Day on June 14th, please use the DAR receptacle for damaged flags. This includes the "patriots" who have flags waving behind their pickup trucks. Most of the those flags are tattered, with dirt and exhaust fumes infused in the cloth of the flag, especially when the truck stops and wipes the dirt off the back of the truck.
Please be respectful of the flag of the United States.
