The last time I checked, the mayor has no authority over the public schools, zilch, nada, nothing, and thank goodness. Just more campaign palaver to fool the voter.

Former state senator Steve Farley found himself in hot water on Thursday after he posted a tweet about school counselors in low-income neighborhoods.
