Re: the Aug. 18 article "Linguist Chomsky joins faculty at UA."
Wow, the Star proudly announces in a front page article that Noam Chomsky has joined the faculty at the University of Arizona at $62,500 a year. Nowhere in the article does it mention anything about Chomsky's radical Marxist, anti-American political philosophy that he has held since the 1960s. He is a card-carrying member of the Communist-dominated Industrial Workers of the World. Anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian. Dismissive of the Cambodian genocide. The list of his radical views goes on and is well documented. This far leftist isn't worth $6, much less 60,000. And if you're among Arizona taxpayers, as I am, we just got sucker punched.
