As my husband and I were watching the Macy’s fireworks program on TV a clip was shown of historian David McCullough speaking about the Brooklyn Bridge. He said that the bridge was built by immigrants and that there wasn’t a need for a wall, that there was a need for a bridge. I’ll be making it a point to shop more at Macy’s!
