Arizona's Michael Wright signals UA is No. 1 after winning the Pac-10 against Stanford in 2001.
During halftime of the UCLA-Arizona game, the Pac-12 Hall of Honor, the conference’s version of a hall of fame, introduced its 2018 class.
Arizona’s inductee was forward Michael Wright, who played at Arizona from 1998-2001 and was the starting small forward for the Cats in the 2001 national championship game against Duke. Wright died in 2015; Wright’s daughter, Daisha, accepted the award on his behalf Friday. Other notable inductees: Basketball star Cheryl Miller (USC), volleyball player Kerri Walsh-Jennings (Stanford), quarterback Sonny Sixkiller (Washington) and decathlete Rafer Johnson (UCLA).
