Massachusetts Advocate Fasts for 15 Days to Protest Food Stamp Cuts
Massachusetts anti-hunger advocate Liz Wills-O'Gilvie says she has gone 15 days without food in protest of shrinking SNAP benefits. The 63-year-old is calling on Governor Maura Healey to increase state funding as Massachusetts reports nearly 182,000 fewer SNAP recipients, including roughly 65,000 children.
