Courtney Love was saved by Johnny Depp

Courtney Love has recalled how Johnny Depp once saved her life.

The Hole frontwoman insisted she didn't want to make "judgements" amid the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor's ongoing defamation case with his ex-wife Amber Heard, who he is suing over an op-ed she wrote in 2018 about being a victim of domestic abuse, while she is countersuing because she didn't identify him by name - but the 'Malibu' singer has shared a story of how the 58-year-old star came to her aid when she overdosed in a nightclub while grieving her late husband, Kurt Cobain.

She said in a video shared to her friend's Instagram account: "I don't really wanna make judgments publicly. I just want to tell you that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room."

And the 57-year-old star told how Johnny also "saved" her daughter Frances Bean, now 29, by writing her a letter on her 13th birthday while the youngster was dealing with Courtney's addiction and the suicide of Kurt, even though she didn't "really know" the 'Black Mass' star at the time.

She continued: "Johnny, when I was on crack and Frances was having to suffer through that with all these social workers, wrote her a four-page letter that she's never showed me.

"Then he sent limos to her school where all the social workers were crawling around, again, unasked, for her and all her friends to go to 'Pirates [of the Caribbean]'.

"He did it a bunch of times. He gave her her own seat [at the premieres] with her name on it.

"I've never seen one of those 'Pirates' movies, but [Frances] loved them. You know, she said to me when she was 13, 'Mama, he saved my life.' And she said it again."

Although Courtney offered support to Johnny, she stressed she still had "empathy" for Amber.

She said: "I've been the most hated woman in America. I've been the most hated woman in the world before TikTok and it's a really… I have a lot of empathy for what that must feel like for Amber. F*** man, wow, can you imagine being her?

"But if you use a movement for your own personal gain, and you inhabit queer feminist intersectional spaces, and you abuse that moment, then I hope justice gets served whatever it is."

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker marry - again

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have got married - again.

The couple - who exchanged vows in a "practice" ceremony in March before making their union official in a Santa Barbara courthouse last weekend - tied the knot in front of family and friends in Portofino, Italy, on Sunday (22.05.22).

Both bride and groom wore Dolce and Gabbana outfits, with the Poosh founder teaming her short white dress with a long embroidered veil.

Kourtney's children, Mason 12, Penelope, nine, and seven-year-old Reign - who she has with former partner Scott Disick - were in attendance for the ceremony, along with her mother, Kris Jenner, and siblings Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, as well as the latter's boyfriend, Devin Booker, and her momager's partner, Corey Gamble.

On Travis' side were his son Landon, 18, daughter Alabama, 16, stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23, and friends including Machine Gun Kelly and his Blink-182 bandmate Mark Hoppus.

According to MailOnline, 43-year-old Kourtney entered the garden for the outdoor ceremony at Castello Brown on the arm of her mother while a woman sang 'Ave Maria'.

They then exchanged vows as dusk fell, before posing for photos ahead of further celebrations this evening.

It was previously revealed tenor Andrea Boccelli will be performing during the wedding, though it is unclear at what stage of the festivities he will take the mic.

Kourtney and Travis have rented out the entire castle, which was built during Roman times as a military defense, and as well as their four-day Italian celebration, they are also planning another huge reception for their friends back in Los Angeles "in the near future".

Although the loved-up pair were thought to have first tied the knot during a ceremony at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in March, the wedding wasn't legally binding because they did not obtain a marriage license.

This is the third marriage for 46-year-old Travis, who was briefly married to first wife Melissa Kennedy between 2001 and 2002, before he went on to tie the knot with the mother of his children, Shanna Moakler.

Kourtney has never wed until now.

Prince Harry's memoir has 'uncertain' publication date

Prince Harry's memoir is embroiled in "some uncertainty" about when it will be released.

The Duke of Sussex announced last July that he was writing an "intimate and heartfelt" autobiography and although Penguin Random House stated at the time, the book was "tentatively scheduled" to be released later this year, the publishers have now admitted they don't yet have a publication date for the highly-anticipated tome.

And the spokesperson refused to confirm to the Sunday Times newspaper if it will still appear this year as planned, with a representative for Harry himself offering a similar response.

A source told the outlet there is currently "some uncertainty" over the publication date for the book.

Announcing the release of the book last summer, Harry - who has children Archie, three, and Lili, 11 months, with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - vowed to write "not as the prince [he] was born but the man [he has] become" and promised to tell the "wholly truthful" story of his life.

In a statement, he said: "I'm writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope that in telling my story - the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned - I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

"I'm deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I've learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that's accurate and wholly truthful."

The 37-year-old royal was to write the book alongside ghost-writer J.R. Moehringer.

A blurb from the publisher stated: "In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him."

The description went on to say Harry's book will cover his "lifetime in the public eye", as well as "the joy he has found in being a husband and father".

Queen Elizabeth won't take royal salute at Trooping the Colour

Queen Elizabeth won't take the royal salute at Trooping the Colour for the first time this year.

The 96-year-old royal - who has been suffering from mobility issues in recent months - historically marks her official birthday on 2 June by greeting her personal troops, the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade, but for next month's ceremony, plans have been drawn up for Princes Charles and William and Princess Anne to ride on the parade in their capacity as colonels of the Welsh Guards, the Irish Guards and the Blues and Royals respectively.

Traditionally during the ceremony following the Horse Guards Parade, the queen is greeted by a royal salute before carrying out an inspection of the troops and though her children and grandson are ready to step in and take part on her behalf, the Sunday Times newspaper reports she still hopes to attend some of the ceremony.

One plan under consideration would see the queen travel in a carriage from Buckingham Palace to briefly inspect the troops, before withdrawing for the rest of the ceremony and later reappearing for the traditional balcony moment with her family, while Charles, William and Anne would represent her at the parade ground.

Another option is for the monarch not to inspect the troops at all, but to just appear on the balcony at the end of the ceremony.

This year, the 86-year-old Duke of Kent - who is colonel of the Scots Guards - will not ride on the parade.

In her role as head of the armed forces, the queen has taken the royal salute every year of her reign apart from in 1955, when the ceremony was cancelled due to a rail strike.

Meanwhile, the queen is not planning to appoint a new royal colonel of the Grenadier Guards before the ceremony in order to spare Prince Andrew - who handed back the role, along with his other military titles in January because of his sexual assault case in the US - any embarrassment.

Andrew had taken over the role in 2017 after the late Duke of Edinburgh had previously held the post for 42 years.

Instead, Major General Roland Walker - a former commanding officer - will represent the Grenadier Guards.

Mike Tyson breaks silence on plane altercation

Mike Tyson's wife doesn't want him to take "public planes".

The 55-year-old boxing legend was caught on camera in an altercation with Melvin George Townsend III on board a JetBlue flight last month after his fellow passenger allegedly threw a bottle at him prior to take off, but after speaking to both parties, the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office ultimately decided not to file any charges.

Mike acknowledged there is always a possibility of him coming face-to-face with "overly excited" fans on board aircraft, and it happens so often his spouse, Lakiha Spencer, wants him to stick to private jets when he has to travel by air.

He said: "I shouldn't even be taking public planes. My wife gets mad I take public planes.

'What am I going to do on a f****** plane with my friends and [a bodyguard] he's supposed to watch me?

"A bodyguard and a f****** yes man. What am I gonna do on a plane?"

The 'Hangover' star admitted incidents like the one on the plane "triggers" him but he knows he should get involved in confrontation.

Asked if it's a losing situation, he said on his 'Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson' podcast: "Yes. Totally, 100 per cent."

The controversial sportsman accused his fellow passenger of "f******" with him.

He said: "Yes, they said they ain't gonna pick up charges.

"He was f*****g with me man. I took pictures with this n****."

It was previously explained no charges had been brought following the incident due to the "circumstances surrounding the confrontation".

The San Mateo County District Attorney's Office explained: "These include the conduct of the victim leading up to the incident, the interaction between Mr. Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson that no charges be filed in this case."

Steve Wagstaffe, the case's District Attorney, told the magazine that after looking at the evidence and the "mixed" reports from the San Francisco Police Department, he was able to see that "the victim was intoxicated and instigated the matter".

Steve also concluded that the matter was not something for "criminal justice" to deal with and said the victim was almost "Darwinian" and "not too bright" to try to fight with a man once nicknamed 'The Baddest Man on the Planet'.

He said: "Bottom line, which is most important, is that it's not a case that belongs in criminal justice. It is quite a Darwinian move to get into the face of a former heavyweight champion of the world. That's not too bright."

'I'm living the dream': Tom Cruise insists he never has a day off

Tom Cruise says he doesn't have days off because he's "living his dream" when he's working.

Growing up, young Tom dreamt of becoming either a pilot or an actor and in his latest film, 'Top Gun: Maverick', the long-awaited sequel to the 1986 action drama, the Hollywood star gets to do both as Navy pilot Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell.

Asked what he likes to do on his days off, Tom told Bella magazine: "This is a day off for me, because I am not shooting!

"I'm just chillin' now. I don't have days off.

"Look, I'm fortunate, I'm lucky.

"I've spent my life on movie sets and travelling the world, which is what I always wanted to do.

"So this is not work - I'm living the dream."

Hence why the 59-year-old star was "very touched" when he was made an Honorary Naval Aviator by the Navy, along with the film's producer Jerry Bruckheimer in 2020.

He said: "I want to thank them.

"I was honoured with becoming the 38th Honorary Navy Aviator.

"They gave me that commission.

"And also, (the Navy instructor programme) TOPGUN School gave me a plaque that only the TOPGUN graduates get, certain pilots receive.

"For me, it's incredible as I grew up wanting to make movies and be an aviator.

"I remember at four years old I would sit there and look at my wall with

P-51 and Spitfire on it."

In a full-circle moment, Tom got to fly his very own P-51 Mustang in the latest flick.

Pete Davidson has left Saturday Night Live

Pete Davidson has left Saturday Night Live .

The 28-year-old comedian - who ha been dating reality TV superstar Kim Kardashian since October 2021 following her split from Kanye West - has been part of the sketch comedy show since 2014 but stepped down on Saturday (21.05.22) and paid tribute to his time on the programme with a "super emotional" Instagram post.

Sharing a throwback video, he wrote: "This video was taken 8 years ago. Jerrod sent it to me last night and it made me super emotional in the best way. In the video I had just gotten back from doing my very first update and sketch. It's crazy to think that today I'll be doing my last one. When I got the show I was 20 years old and I had no idea what I was doing. I still don't but especially back then. "

Pete - who has previously dated the likes of pop star Ariana Grande and Hollywood actress Kate Beckinsale - went on to explain that he "knew" he wasn't really suited to sketch comedy but kept up with his co-stars by playing up to his skills as a stand up comedian.

He wrote on Instagram: "I wasn't really a sketch performer I was just a stand up. I knew I could never keep up or go toe to toe with a Kenan Thompson or a Kate McKinnon so I was super scared at figuring out what I could possibly bring to or do for such a historic, respected show and platform. I figured since I'm a stand up I'll just try my stand up and personal bits on Weekend Update as myself and I'm so glad I did. I got to share so much with this audience and literally grow up in front of your eyes. We were together through the good and the bad, the happiest and the darkest of times.

"I owe [producer] Lorne Michaels and everyone at SNL my life. Im so grateful and I wouldn't be here without them. I appreciate you guys always having my back and sticking up for me even when that wasn't the popular opinion."(sic)

Ciara's kids feel 'proud' of her Sports Illustrated shoot

Ciara's children feel "proud" of her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue photos.

The 36-year-old singer - who has Future, eight, with rap star Future, as well as Sienna, five, and Win, 19 months, with Russell Wilson - has revealed that her family have all been supportive of her decision to pose for the magazine.

The 'Goodies' hitmaker told People: "My kids are so proud.

"I will say this one. As soon as I start to pop pop, Future's like 'Stop Mom, like stop the pop Mom,' because he's like, I can see my mom."

Ciara thinks having the support of her family is the "best feeling in the world".

The chart-topping star - who married Russell in 2016 - explained: "All the love is amazing and it's the best feeling in the world ... And you have your loved ones by your side and when I feel them cheering me on, it means the world."

Kim Kardashian also stars in the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and the brunette beauty recently admitted it's "crazy" to be on the cover of the magazine at 41 years old.

The reality star never thought she would have the opportunity to pose for the magazine.

Kim - who has North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, with rap star Kanye West - said: "I vividly remember Tyra Banks on the cover and women with curves, I remember thinking that was just so cool. But I still thought you had to be a professional model and a runway model.

"It was always really young girls. I don't want to date myself or sound old. But in my 40s? That's crazy! I never thought in a million years that I would be shooting one myself."

Lupita Nyong'o drops out of The Lady In The Lake

Lupita Nyong'o has dropped out of the miniseries 'The Lady In The Lake'.

Lupita, 39, was due to co-star alongside Natalie Portman and serve as executive producer of the Apple TV+ adaptation of Laura Lippman's 2019 novel but she has now left the project, according to Variety.

Portman remains as co-lead and executive producer and will star alongside Y'Lan Noel, Mikey Madison, and Brett Gelman.

Filming in Baltimore started one month ago so Lupita will need to be replaced as soon as possible.

'The Lady In The Lake' is set 1960s Baltimore, where housewife turned aspiring reporter Maddie Schwartz (Portman) pursues the murder of a forgotten young woman.

Lupita was previously forced to pull out of another TV role in 2020, when she exited the HBO Max adaptation of the Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie novel 'Americanah', due to scheduling issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lupita and Danai Gurira were due to executive produce the project, with Lupita starring and Danai writing and serving as showrunner.

It received a 10-episode order from the network, with Uzo Aduba, Corey Hawkins, Zackary Momoh, and Tireni Oyenusi co-starring.

However, the series was dropped after Lupita pulled out.

Jeremy Renner to star in movie about opioid crisis

Jeremy Renner will star in a new movie about the opioid epidemic.

The 51-year-old actor will portray David Armstrong, the Pulitzer-prize winning investigative journalist who helped expose the Sackler family and Purdue Pharma's links to the crisis, according to Deadline.

Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly will write and direct the untitled project, which is being produced by Julie Yorn, Patrick Walmsley and David C. Glasser.

In a series of articles, Armstrong revealed how the Sackler family had aggressively marketed Purdue's painkiller OxyContin, which contributed to the opioid epidemic that killed more than 450,000 Americans over the past 20 years.

The drama is being sold in the Cannes Market through Expanded Media/LBI Entertainment and 101 Studios.

David Hutkin, Ron Burkle and Bob Yari will executive produce for 101 Studios.

Gaudet and Pullapilly told Deadline: "The real David Armstrong is a man of utmost integrity. We could not be more thrilled to have Jeremy on board to infuse that same integrity into his portrayal of David. We're excited to work with such a great team to bring this story to a global audience."

Armstrong said he is "gratified that a movie audience will learn of the story behind this crisis, which has ruined so many lives. I am impressed with the vision Gita and Aron have for making this film and thrilled that an actor of Jeremy's talent and ability will be a major part of telling this story."

Glasser added: "I can't think of anyone better than Jeremy Renner to bring David Armstrong's vital story to audiences. We have been lucky enough to see Jeremy's tremendous talent first-hand working together on 'Mayor of Kingstown'. We can't wait to see him tackle a project that we know will resonate with audiences."

Barry Manilow 'didn't realise he was gay' until he met husband

Barry Manilow has admitted he "never even thought" about questioning his sexuality until he met his future husband.

The veteran musician, 78, struck up a romance with TV executive Garry Kief in 1978 following the collapse of his marriage to Susan Deixler, which officially ended in 1966.

Garry went on to become Barry's manager and the pair married in secret in 2014 before going public with their love in 2017.

Now, Barry admits he didn't realise he might be gay until he met Garry, telling America's Closer magazine: "(I) never even thought about whether I was gay (before I met Garry)."

He credits Garry with helping him get his business affairs back on track after finding himself in financial turmoil, adding of his partner: "He's the smartest person I've ever met in my life - and a great guy too.

"I was one of the lucky ones."

After coming out publicly in 2017, Barry told PEOPLE magazine he kept his personal life private for so many years because he was worried about disappointing his fans.

The 'Mandy' hitmaker explained: "I'm so private. I always have been. I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything."

On the positive reaction the news, he added: "When they found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy.

"The reaction was so beautiful - strangers commenting, 'Great for you!' I'm just so grateful for it."

Doja Cat pulls out of Weeknd tour

Doja Cat has pulled out of The Weeknd's summer stadium tour.

The 26-year-old star was due to support The Weeknd on his 'After Hours Til Dawn' global stadium tour, which kicks off in July, but she has been forced to step down due to tonsil surgery.

She wrote on Instagram: "Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils ASAP. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take awhile due to swelling. That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour. I feel horrible about this but can't wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y'all."

Doja has also pulled out of her scheduled appearances at Hangout Festival in Alabama this weekend, and Glastonbury Festival in the UK next month.

Hinting at her medical issues earlier on Twitter, she wrote: "Dr. just had to cut into my left tonsil. I had an abscess in it. My whole throat is f***** so i might have some bad news for yall coming soon. I was taking f***** antibiotics but forgot that i was taking them and then i drank wine and was vaping all day long and then i started getting a nasty growth on my tonsil so they had to do surgery on it today (sic)."

Emma Thompson told she didn't have 'the right kind of body' for sex scenes

Emma Thompson was told she didn't have "the right kind of body" for sex scenes.

The 63-year-old actress revealed she has rarely been asked to do racy scenes in movies because male executives did not think she had the right look for them.

Speaking to The Times newspaper, she said: "I've never really been offered sex scenes. As my mother said, I've basically played a series of 'good' women. I do 'cerebral.' And I have also never conformed to the shape or look of someone they might want to see naked.

"And by 'they,' I mean male executives. I'm too mouthy, not pretty enough, not the right kind of body. And, crikey, you are constantly told what kind of body you have."

And Emma said constant bodyshaming has upset her over the years.

She explained: "In one interview I did, the male journalist wrote that I'd put on a lot of weight since I appeared in 'Fortunes of War', and that my legs were 'now like tree trunks,' and that I'd 'let myself down'. I was 31 and, quite frankly, no longer starving myself. I don't think anyone knows quite how thin most actresses are in real life. They look quite… unreal."

Emma stars in new movie 'Good Luck to You, Leo Grande', in which she appears naked on screen for one of the first times ever.

Speaking previously about rehearsals, she revealed that she, co-star Daryl McCormack and director Sophie Hyde all stripped off to work on the racy scenes.

She told Entertainment Weekly: "Sophie, Daryl, and I rehearsed entirely nude. And talked about our bodies, talked about our relationship with our bodies, drew them, discussed the things that we find difficult about, things we like about them, described one another's bodies."

Kelly Rizzo wishes she could have 'one more day' with Bob Saget

Kelly Rizzo wishes she could have "one more day" with late husband Bob Saget.

The 'Full House' star - who was found dead in a hotel room back in January at the age of 65 after suffering "blunt head trauma" - was married to Kelly from 2018 until his death and now his widow has had to "settle for memories" as she celebrated her 43rd birthday without him.

Alongside a series of videos from previous birthdays, she wrote on Instagram: "My birthday wish is to have one more day with Bob. But since I can't have that, I'll settle for memories. These are all videos shot by Bob on my past birthdays. He gave me the best birthdays I ever could have dreamed of and made me feel like the most special girl in the whole world. (The middle video is on a beach in Mexico when he got a beautiful guitar player to serenade me with my favorite songs while we had an incredible dinner.) .(sic)

The 'Eat Travel Rock' host went on to thank her tragic husband - who is also survived by his three adult daughters Aubrey, Jennifer and Lara from his first marriage to Sherri Kramer - for their time together and vowed that she would "try" to celebrate the day despite her grief.

She added: " To Bob, I just want to say THANK YOU. And thank you to everyone for so much love and support. Today I'll try to celebrate."

The birthday message comes just weeks after Kelly took to Instagram to share that she had the "best rainy day friend" in Bob.

Alongside a black-and-white photo of Bob posing with an umbrella, she wrote on Instagram: "I had the best rainy day friend. Rainy days were our fave bc we would watch our 'programs' while cuddling on the couch all day."(sic)

Kim Kardashian files emergency restraining order against alleged stalker

Kim Kardashian has filed an emergency restraining order against an alleged stalker.

The 41-year-old reality superstar - who has children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four and Psalm, three with ex-husband Kanye West - has reportedly taken out the court order after the man allegedly threatened to kill her and her family.

Court documents obtained by TMZ explain: "The person has made several alarming threats, including threatening to kill her family and bomb her business offices."

The outlet went on to claim that Kim's legal team stated in the documents that her security team has intercepted over 80 letters containing several "disturbing sexual references " about her, said to have bene sent to the SKIMS founder by the man - named by TMZ as David Resendiz - and that she has received 30 in the last month alone.

'The Kardashians' star is now dating 'Saturday Night Live' comedian Pete Davidson, 28, and while it was alleged that the documents do not mention him specifically, The Blast also reported that Kim said the individual had lashed out at those with whom she has "intimate relationships."

Back in 2021, Kim previously had to deal with a seemingly unrelated incident of stalking when Nicholas Costanza - who sent the star a diamond ring and a morning-after pill, but even though she managed to obtained a five-year restraining order against him, he was eventually charged with felony stalking after breaching the order and attempted to jump the gate and get into the grounds of her San Fernando mansion.

Nude protester storms red carpet at Cannes Film Festival

A nude protester stormed the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.

The 75th annual event is taking place in French Riviera city until 28 May but a naked woman is interrupted proceedings as stars from 'Three Thousand Years of Longing' walked down the red carpet, bearing the words 'Stop.Raping.Us' painted across her chest and completed the look with blood-red paint in the shape of handprints around her underwear.

The New York Times' reporter Kyle Buchanan shared an image of the incident on Instagram and wrote: "the woman in front of me stripped off all her clothes (covered in body paint) and fell to her knees screaming in front of photographers.."(sic)

The reporter went on to claim that the unnamed woman was hastily removed from the event and that organisers had stopped him from filming.

He added: "Cannes authorities rushed over, covered her in a coat, blocked my camera from filming!" (sic)

Twitter account SCUM - which describes itself as an organisation "radical feminist activists, universalist blasphemers" - later tweeted that the protest was staged on their behalf to highlight Ukrainian women suffering in the war torn country.

SCUM tweeted: "A SCUM activist enters the red carpet of the #Cannes2022 festival to denounce the sexual violence inflicted on Ukrainian women in the context of the war."

'Three Thousand Years of Longing' is directed by George Miller and stars Tilda Swinton as an academic who is offered three wishes creature of reason - played by 'Suicide Squad' star Idris Elba, with the reporter going on to suggest in follow-up tweets that the action on the red carpet quickly resumed following the incident as he described what they were wearing to the prestigious event.

He added: "Anyway! George Miller is here, 7 years after MAD MAX: FURY ROAD premiered at Cannes. And Idris and Tilda are wearing complementary midnight blue."(sic)

Wendy Williams 'not in agreement' with court-appointed financial guardian

Wendy Williams is "not in agreement" with a court-appointed financial guardian.

The 57-year-old star - who fronted 'The Wendy Williams Show' for over a decade until 2021 but is now in an ongoing battle with Wells Fargo who have frozen her assets and claimed she is "incapacitated" - has been assigned a financial guardian in order to gain "access to her millions" but a representative for the TV host has claimed she has disagreed with the decision, which was leaked to the press on Thursday (19.04.22).

Her lawyer La'Shawn Thomas told PageSix: "Please be advised that Wendy is not in agreement with the appointment of a financial guardian by the court. Wendy has been very clear that she does not want a financial guardian to tell her what she can and cannot do with her money."

Wendy - who was frequently absent from her talk show throughout 2021 due to her ongoing battle with Graves' disease with the network ultimately handing her slot over to comedienne Sherri Shepherd - is said to feel "capable" that she can manage her own affairs and could employ a team to look after her money herself.

Thomas added: "Wendy feels that she is capable of hiring her own team who would work for her and not the court. [The report of the arrangement] may have been leaked [by Wells Fargo] in an attempt to lessen the public outcry and regulatory scrutiny mounting around them."

Meanwhile, former DJ Wendy previously said: "Wells Fargo has no questions and answers regarding my money. This is not fair. And Lori Schiller and Wells Fargo has this guardianship petition about keeping me away from my money. This is not right and this is not fair."

Back in February, LaShawn Thomas insisted that Wendy feeling "fine" and "is of sound mind" amid her feud with Wells Fargo.

Drake taught me how to rap, says Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow considers his friendship with Drake to be a "gift".

The 24-year-old star has quickly developed a close bond with Drake, 35, and Jack has credited his friend for teaching him how to rap.

Jack - who released his debut album, 'That's What They All Say', in 2020 - explained: "That's what's a real gift to this s***. Drake is one of the people who literally taught me how to rap; him, [Lil] Wayne, and Kanye [West]."

Jack even claimed that being close friends with Drake is worth more than $10 million to him.

He said on 'The 85 South Comedy Show': "To be cool with him is the biggest gift. It's better than $10 million. There's no price tag on meeting somebody who taught you how to do it, and them saying, 'Yo, you're dope.'"

Meanwhile, Jack recently revealed he sought Dua Lipa's approval before he named a song after her.

The rap star spoke to the London-born singer before he released his new track, which is named 'Dua Lipa'.

He said: "I wanted to get her blessing, so I FaceTimed her and played it for her because I didn't want her to be blindsided by that or feel like creeped out or anything.

"If she had said, 'Yo, I hate it. I don't want it to come out,' it wouldn't have come out."

Dua, 26, thinks the song is "okay" - but she was also "thrown off" by the conversation.

During a recent appearance on a radio show, Jack shared: "She was like, 'Oh, I mean it's not my song. I suppose it's okay.' She was just kinda thrown off and she just kinda let it go."

Prince Charles calls for understanding of 'pain and suffering' of Canada's indigenous people

Prince Charles believes the "pain and suffering" of Canada's indigenous people must be understood.

The 73-year-old royal delivered a passionate speech during the final hours of his three-day tour on Thursday (19.05.22) and admitted he had been "deeply moved" after meeting the survivors of the residential school scandal, who were taken from their families and sent to church-run institutions, with many subjected to abuse.

Praising their "courage" in speaking out, Charles admitted he and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, "want to acknowledge their suffering and to say how much our hearts go out to them and their families".

He added: "All leaders have shared with me the importance of advancing reconciliation in Canada.

"We must listen to the truth of the lived experiences of Indigenous peoples, and we should work to understand better their pain and suffering.

"We all have a responsibility to listen, understand and act in ways that foster relationships between Indigenous and non-indigenous peoples in Canada."

While Charles stopped short of apologising on behalf of his mother, Queen Elizabeth, for the "assimilation and genocide" of Canada's indigenous children, many of his remarks had been added at the last minute after hearing from the survivors, indigenous community leaders and Canada's Governor General during the tour, as he had reportedly only originally planned to speak briefly about the trip, the environment and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Instead, speaking in Yellowknife, he said: "Our visit has enabled us to deepen our understanding of this important moment in Canada's journey."

Earlier in the day, Charles and Camilla visited the remote community of Dettah, where there whole community of 220 turned out to see them.

The royal couple were welcomed with a Feeding the Fire Ceremony - where tobacco was thrown into a fire pit to the sound of drums - before hearing prayers to the spirits and then going their separate ways for different engagements.

Charles met with the Yellowknives Dene First Nation leadership and joined in with the traditional conga-like Dene Drum Dance.

Jennifer Drygeese said afterwards: "He was really good, he had rhythm. He really looked like he enjoyed himself.

"It means a lot to us. He just got up and danced. He looked like he has done it before."

Chief Edward added: "It was awesome. He fitted right in. It shows he really does care about the community."

Camilla went to a local school with just 32 pupils, where she joined a language lesson and watched art made from dyed fish scales.

She presented them with a stack of books, and in return was given a fluffy stress ball made of beaver fur.

She laughed and said: "Everybody needs a stress ball."

Princess Diana's tiara to headline exhibition at Sotheby's

Princess Diana's wedding tiara is set to headline a new exhibition at Sotheby's in London.

The late princess - who died in August 1997, aged 36 - wore the Spencer Tiara on the day she married Prince Charles in July 1981, and it will form part of the new exhibition of royal and aristocratic jewels.

Power and Image: Royal and Aristocratic Tiaras will run between May 28 and June 15, and it will be free to the public. The spectacular display has been created as part of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The exhibition will feature nearly 50 eye-catching items, including the famous Spencer Tiara, which is actually on loan to Sotheby's from Diana's brother, Earl Spencer.

The spectacular headpiece was worn most recently in 2018 by Celia McCorquodale, the daughter of Diana and Earl Spencer's sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale.

Elsewhere, the exhibition will also include a tiara previously worn by Queen Victoria that features a 15-carat emerald designed by her husband, Prince Albert.

According to Sotheby's, it is widely seen as "one of the most elegant and sumptuous coloured gemstone tiaras ever created anywhere in the world".

Meanwhile, Kristian Spofforth, the head of London jewellery at Sotheby's and curator of the exhibition, recently explained that tiaras remain sought-after items.

He told Vogue: "There's an incredible demand for tiaras and we've seen phenomenal prices in the last few years.

"Even certain unspectacular pieces which are just bog-standard tiaras have doubled in price."

Kristian also noted that the iconic Spencer Tiara comes with a "tangible sense of its history, power and influence".

He said: "There are pieces that you hold, and you do get a slight chill. It's amazing because of its provenance and Diana - there's a tangible sense of its history, power and influence."
