Photos: CANSTRUCTION at Park Place Mall
Area architects, designers and engineers formed six teams to construct sculptural designs from canned goods. The installations will remain in place at the mall through October 7, after which the cans will be given to the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. John Price, an architect and co-ordinator of CANSTRUCTION, estimated at least 15,000 cans would be donated this year.
