3rd place: Sara Gill from Amphitheater High School for "Beach Beauty" from Adventures in Nature: A High School Nature Photo Contest, sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and Arizona Highways magazine. Eighty-four photos were submitted by students representing 14 area high schools.

Honorable mention: “Ribbon Falls” by Angel Breault of Salpointe Catholic High School. Breault has been hiking the Grand Canyon since he was 10 years old. He took a day hike to Ribbon Falls while his father was fishing.
