Kory Laos BMX Anniversary Jam
More than 500 riders of all ages from across the BMX and mountain biking community showed up throughout the day to remember Kory Laos and ride at the One-year Anniversary Jam at Kory Laos Memorial Freestyle BMX Park, 5510 N. Shannon Road on Saturday, October 27th, 2012. Kory Laos died two days before his 15th birthday on May 4, 2007, after he was struck by an SUV while riding his bicycle on East Speedway near the University of Arizona. His friends and family worked to open a park where bicyclists could safely ride.
