The nonprofit group ARC, or Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy hosts the Matthew Rothstein Annual Bioblitz at the Sabino Canyon Recreation Center. The Matthew Rothstein Annual Bioblitz was made with the intention of commemorating the life of a young nature enthusiast lost too soon. Participants take the space to survey the area's biodiversity with scientists and other naturalists to identify and document as many species as possible to explore what creatures and wildlife lives in the space, N Sabino Canyon, August 12, 2023.
