The Arizona Wildcats' bus was a few minutes late Saturday, but who cares? The 2,000 or so fans gathered for the walk on North Cherry Avenue on the UA mall grooved along to Pride of Arizona music, drank a pre-game beverage or two and got excited.

The Wildcats have been dominant so far, outscoring their first two opponents by a combined score of 93-8. They've been fun to watch on offense and stingy on defense. They've avoided major injuries while exposing their newcomers to valuable playing time. Now, things will get fun.

The 70,585 fans inside Iowa's Kinnick Stadium hardly noticed last fall when the Arizona Wildcats summoned their backup quarterback to play the fourth quarter. Nick Foles was happy to receive the audition, even if there was no ovation.
