Since beginning my nursing career in 2016 as a new graduate RN in the Surgical/Trauma ICU, I have been deeply committed to advancing patient care, safety and quality. Over seven years at bedside, I grew into my roles as charge nurse, preceptor, and education coordinator, where I mentored new nurses and supported a culture of excellence. In 2023 I earned my Master of Science in nursing with a focus on Health Care Quality and Patient Safety, which assisted in my transition to the Trauma Quality program. I am currently serving as a Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator at Banner University Medical Center's Tucson Campus, where I could focus on improving trauma care processes and outcomes.
