The last time Arizona and Arizona State played each other, the Sun Devils were the lone undefeated team in college basketball and it was a Top 20 matchup between two of the best teams in the Pac-12 at McKale Center.
Things have changed since then.
The Sun Devils consistently split conference games and fell out of the AP Top 25 last week. But after winning three straight, ASU checked in at No. 25 in the latest AP poll with the Wildcats falling to No. 17 after losing to UCLA last Thursday.
Arizona is preparing for a three-game road trip with ASU on Thursday and then the Oregon schools next week, which are the final batch of road games for the Wildcats. Arizona-ASU will tipoff at 7 p.m. Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena, which will be broadcasted on ESPN.
