After cruising by UCLA and making the Pac-12 race interesting, Arizona looks to maintain momentum against Cal this week and build off of the trending quarterback in Khalil Tate.

Six games in and the Wildcats are officially at halfway mark of the season. Who expected Arizona to be 4-2 and tied for first place of the Pac-12 South? Nobody, because the Cats were voted to finish last in the conference at the start of the season. You can thank Tate for that.  

Rich Rodriguez held a press conference Monday so let's check out what he had to say about looking forward to this week against Cal, the defense and why Tate wasn't the starter initially into the season:
