Arizona Wildcats freshman Jessie Harper has been named the Pac-12 Player of the Week and Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for her role in the UA's weekend series win over rival Arizona State.Â
Harper drove in eight of the Wildcats' 14 runs in the three games; five of them came in Saturday's loss to the Devils. She hit a pair of home runs and had a career-high five RBIs in Sunday's win over ASU. Â
The freshman ranks second in the Pac-12 with 18 home runs and a .783 slugging percentage. The award was Harper's second player of the week award and third freshman of the week award this season. Â
The third-ranked Wildcats (47-5) will take on 12th-ranked UCLA this weekend in Los Angeles.Â
