Chargers QB Justin Herbert is the odds-on favorite, with Josh Allen and Tom Brady not far behind. But there's another quarterback to keep an eye on.
The kickoff to the NFL regular season is a little over a week away and the anticipation and excitement is already palpable.
The season begins with perhaps the most anticipated season opener in some time, as the Buffalo Bills take on the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams in SoFi Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 8.
More than a week out, the Bills are 2.5-point favorites over the Rams, according to DraftKings.
The Bills, of course, are the odds-on favorite to win the AFC West and challenge for Super Bowl 57, entering the season at +550 to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. The Rams aren’t too far behind, however, and sit at +1200 to repeat.

Ravens’ preseason streak carries momentum
The Baltimore Ravens haven’t lost a preseason game since 2015. This past Saturday they finished off another perfect preseason with a 17-15 win over the Washington Commanders. That’s 23 straight for Baltimore.
But how does that translate into the regular season?
Well, since the unbeaten preseason streak started in 2016, the Ravens are 5-1 in their Week 1 openers. Their only loss came last year to the Las Vegas Raiders, 33-27.
This season, Baltimore opens on the road at the New York Jets where the Ravens are a 7-point favorite.
New QB? No problem …
The three biggest point spreads in Week 1, according to DraftKings, are with teams breaking in new quarterbacks
Former longtime Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan is now with the Indianapolis Colts, who are 8.5 favorites over the Houston Texans. That’s the largest spread in all of the early lines.
The second biggest spread is for the San Francisco 49ers, who are 7-point favorites over the Chicago Bears with Trey Lance making his debut for the West Coast team.
Then there’s the Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson, who are favored by 6.5-points over Wilson’s former team the Seattle Seahawks.
Colts running back Jonathan Taylor and 49ers wideout Deebo Samuel top offensive odds; Steelers' T.J. Watt and Browns' Myles Garrett lead defenders.
What time is it?
Every 1 p.m. Sunday game in Week 1 has a point total under 50 points, according to DraftKings. But four out of the seven games played outside that 1 p.m. slot are set for 50 or over in total points.
