Revised Buffalo Bisons schedule has 120 games with May 4 opener

The new opening day will be May 4 against the Worcester Red Sox at Sahlen Field. 

Major League Baseball decided Tuesday to delay the start of the Triple A season so that major league teams could use their Triple A facilities as an alternate training site. For the Bisons, that meant 24 games from April 6 to May 2 were canceled and will not be rescheduled. 

MLB added home games July 13 and 14 against Lehigh Valley to the Bisons' schedule. Otherwise, the schedule remains unchanged from when it was announced. 

Ticket availability, ballpark capacity and ballpark safety procedures will be announced at a later day, the Bisons said.
