Rich Alday
• Olympics: Seoul 1988, Atlanta 1996 (qualified but United States boycotted)
• Local connection: A Tucson native, Tucson High School graduate and the first Pima College baseball coach
• Feat: Alday was a coach on the 1988 and 1996 U.S. National teams that won gold and bronze medals, respectively. He also started the Pima College baseball program in 1973 and led it to the championship game of the NCJAA World Series in 1985.
