The second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs heads to Illinois this week for the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields Country Club.
Below are our favorite BMW Championship props, including Rory McIlroy and Lucas Glover odds.
2023 BMW Championship props: Odds, picks, and long shots
The field has been shaved to 50 of the PGA’s finest, and only 30 will move on to the Tour Championship next week for all the marbles.
Lucas Glover has made an unlikely charge in the FedEx Cup points race, moving from 112th to 4th thanks to back-to-back tournament wins.
Can the 43-year-old do it again? Check out our top BMW Championship props below.
BMW Championship best bets: Rory McIlroy Top 10 finish (-165 or better)
McIlroy magic has been on full display this season. The four-time major winner has now recorded eight consecutive top-10 finishes after a T3 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week.
The reigning FedEx Cup champion sits third in the point standings, which would be good for a 7-under-par advantage if the Tour Championship was to start today.
Expect Rory to keep his foot on the gas at the BMW Championship to put himself in an even better position for next week’s finale.
2023 BMW props: Patrick Cantlay Top 5 finish (+188 or better)
Patrick Cantlay is clutch. The UCLA product is a proven playoff performer who plays his best golf when the stakes are at their highest.
He’ll be looking for a three-peat at the BMW Championship this week in Illinois after winning the previous two playoff events in Maryland and Delaware.
Cantlay’s in top form, coming off a P2 last week when he lost to Lucas Glover in the first playoff hole after driving his ball into the drink. The 31-year-old currently sits 5th in FedEx Cup points and 4th in OWGR.
He’ll be looking to secure his second Tour Championship next week in Atlanta after winning the title in 2021.
2023 BMW Championship matchup bets: Corey Conners (-105 or better) vs. Tony Finau
Corey Conners has recently found a strong putting game to complement his elite ball-striking skills. The Canadian finished T6 last week at St. Jude, buoyed by an above-field-average flat stick performance.
Conners now has four top-20 finishes in his previous six tournaments and has shot up to 25th in the FedEx Cup standings.
Meanwhile, Tony Finau has just one top 20 in his last nine tournaments, with three missed cuts, a T72, and a recent 64 at TPC Southwind last week.
BMW Championship long shot picks: Lucas Glover Round 1 Leader (+3000 or better)
Lucas Glover sweated out a win last week (literally and figuratively) in a playoff hole against Patrick Cantlay in the unrelenting Memphis heat.
The 43-year-old is the oldest player remaining in the FedEx Cup playoffs and has now won more tournaments in his 40s (3) than he did in his 20s (2).
His back-to-back tournament wins have catapulted him all the way to 4th in FedEx points and have put him within legitimate striking distance of a Tour Championship.
Round 1 Leader bets are always a long shot, but there’s no reason not to take a flier on the hottest player in golf.
