Another massive college football weekend is on deck, as there are 16 undefeated teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 after five full weeks. And nine of them are in the Top 10.
This Saturday, there are three games that feature teams with perfect records, including No. 20 Kentucky vs. No. 1 Georgia, Maryland vs. No. 4 Ohio State and No. 12 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Texas.
So buckle up, as FrontPageBets takes a look at those three games in our best bets of Week 6.

No. 12 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Texas predictions: Longhorns -6.5 (-110) & Under 60.5 (-110)
This will be the 43rd time in the Red River Rivalry’s history that both Oklahoma and Texas are ranked. Both undefeated, Texas has been tested more than Oklahoma this year with the Longhorns knocking off then-No. 3 Alabama in the season’s second week.
The undefeated Longhorns are also riding the momentum of last year’s 49-0 win over the Sooners, which was the biggest victory the program has ever had in the rivalry.
But this is a different Oklahoma team, with quarterback Dillon Gabriel healthy and rolling to the tune of 1,593 passing yards and 15 touchdowns this season to go along with completing 75% of his passes with just two interceptions.
Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, who is also receiving a lot of Heisman hype, has been solid this year as well, throwing for 1,358 yards and 10 scores with just one pick.
Don’t expect this game to be as high-scoring as in past years, because both of these defenses are stingy – Oklahoma ranks tied for second the nation in scoring defense, giving up 8.5 points per game, while Texas is giving up 12.5 ppg, which is tied for 12th nationally.
This one will come down to which offense can capitalize on a mistake or exploit a weakness. And as a 6.5-point favorite, look for the more-tested Longhorns to figure that out.
- Kickoff: Noon, Saturday
- TV: ABC
- The pick: Texas, 28-21
Maryland vs. No. 4 Ohio State predictions: Terps +19.5 (-110) & Under 57.5 (-110)
One of the nation’s best offenses will face one of the top defenses in college football when undefeated Maryland heads to the Horseshoe.
The Terps are averaging 38.6 points per game (T15 nationally) and more than 450 total yards in their 5-0 start, while the fourth-ranked Buckeyes are tied for second in scoring defense (8.5 ppg) and sixth in total defense, giving up 255.5 yards per outing.
Maryland is led by Taulia Tagovailoa at quarterback. Yes, he’s Tua’s brother and is 14th in the country in passing yards, throwing for 1,459 and 13 touchdowns.
Ohio State, which is coming off a bye week after knocking off then-No. 9 Notre Dame two weeks ago in South Bend, is led by first-year starter Kyle McCord, who has become a solid game manager for a team on the cusp of breaking out offensively with two of the nation’s best receivers.
That happens this week for the Buckeyes, who are 19.5-point favorites.
- Kickoff: Noon, Saturday
- TV: FOX
- The pick: Ohio State, 30-21
No. 20 Kentucky vs. No. 1 Georgia predictions: Wildcats +14.5 (-110) & Over 48.5 (-110)
Kentucky heads to Athens, Ga., to face the top-ranked, two-time defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs as a 14.5-point underdog.
And for good reason: The Wildcats haven’t beaten UGA since 2009. The Bulldogs, on the other hand, haven’t lost since 2021, winning 22 games in a row.
Take note, however: This season, Georgia is 0-5 against the spread. Something to consider when taking a look at this matchup that pits a traditionally tough Bulldogs defense that has struggled with the run against a Kentucky team whose running back Ray Davis had a career best 280-yard rushing performance last Saturday against Florida.
The Wildcats will give it a go, but Georgia is just too much, especially at home between the hedges.
Dawgs win, but don’t cover – again.
- Kickoff: 7 p.m., Saturday
- TV: ESPN
- The pick: Georgia, 28-24
