It’s been nearly 90 years since college football has had a three-peat champion.
This season, Georgia looks to become the first program since Minnesota (1934-1936) to win three consecutive national titles.
According to the preseason odds, the Bulldogs are a sizable favorite to do so, sitting as the consensus frontrunner across all major sportsbooks to win yet another championship.
Not only do the oddsmakers agree that Georgia is the best team heading into the 2023 season, college football experts concur, ranking the Bulldogs as the near-unanimous No. 1 team in the country when the first Associated Press Top 25 poll of the season was released Monday.
The Bulldogs received 60 of the 63 possible first-place votes, while No. 2 Michigan got two and third-ranked Ohio State received one.
With the 2023 college football season set to kick off, FrontPageBets takes a look at the national championship odds for each team ranked in the AP’s preseason Top 25 poll.
