Whatever you need to do Sunday, get it done before 4:25 p.m. Eastern.
Because after that, the two biggest and best NFL games of the weekend will be played, back to back.
Starting off the must-see doubleheader, the Buffalo Bills head to Kansas City for a must-win game if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive and figure out a way to right the ship after a disappointing season.
Following that afternoon/evening game in Arrowhead is a huge NFC East Sunday night affair between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
Let’s start with the nightcap.
The Eagles have been playing the toughest schedule in the NFL the last six weeks (Dolphins, Commanders, Cowboys, Chiefs, Bills, 49ers) and it finally caught up to them in a huge home loss to San Francisco last Sunday.
Still, Philly is 10-2, and has the best record in the NFL. It also has the best winning percentage against the spread, going 7-3-2 (70%).
But the Eagles don’t get a reprieve this weekend as they head to Big D to face the Cowboys, who have won four straight by an average score of 42-18.
Also, during the four-game stretch, Dallas (9-3) has been favored by no less than 9.5 points, and covered 17.5 against the Giants, 11 against the Panthers and 13 against the Commanders.
This will be the fifth consecutive game – and the 11th time this season – that the Cowboys are favored to win; while it’s just the third time all season the Eagles will be an underdog.
Philadelphia won the first regular-season game against Dallas back in Week 9, 28-23, when the Eagles were 3-point favorites. But, the Cowboys have won four of the last six meetings in the rivalry.
The 3.5-points the Cowboys are giving seem like too much to us here at FrontPageBets.
Now, let’s take a look at the AFC matchup that kicks off this terrific twin-bill:
The Bills (6-6) are coming off their bye week after losing three of their last four games. Since 2018, the Bills are 6-0 after the bye week, which is a promising. They’ve also won their last two regular-season meetings against Kansas City.
However, the Bills have lost back-to-back playoff games to the Chiefs.
Kansas City (8-4) enters having lost last week to the Packers in Lambeau Field. The last time the Chiefs have lost consecutive games was in Week 2 and 3 of the 2021 season.
KC is favored by only 1.5 points, which feels more like a pick-em the closer we get to Sunday afternoon.
The Bills need the win, and Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen knows it.
That’s enough for me.
Now … on to the picks!
