Not only do the 49ers have one of the toughest defenses in the league, but they also have a number of dangerous offensive weapons like Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk.
While the Steelers also have a solid defense, there are a lot more question marks that leave things up in the air. Kenny Pickett will be under center and despite a strong preseason, he has not shown much to get excited about at the NFL level.
Take the 49ers to start their season with a victory despite traveling to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers in this one.
Week 1 NFL survivor pool predictions: Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams
While the Seahawks will definitely be popular as one of the most popular NFL Week 1 survivor pool picks, you should stay far away.
For starters, this is a divisional matchup -- these games between rivals are always close and there is no need to pick a divisional game.
In addition, the Rams do still have some game breaking talent on either side of the ball. While Cooper Kupp will likely miss the game due to injury, players like Aaron Donald can still shift momentum with a single big play.
All in all, there are safer options for your NFL Week 1 survivor pool best bets than picking the Seahawks against the Rams.
