Arizona Wildcats wide receiver Juron Criner is dressed and expected to play tonight, 12 days after undergoing a laparoscopic appendectomy at a Tucson hospital.
Criner, a senior, warmed up with his teammates an hour before tonight's 7:51 p.m. kickoff against No. 6 Stanford at Arizona Stadium. It's unclear whether he will start over redshirt freshman Austin Hill.
Criner underwent an laparoscopic appendectomy Sept. 5, and did not travel with the team to Stillwater, Okla., last week. He ran with his teammates in practice during the week, but did not take hits.Â
Coach Mike Stoops has not commented publicly on Criner's status since Wednesday, when he said the star wideout was still questionable to play.Â
