Arizona freshman Allonzo Trier had 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting while USA beat Croatia 103-81 in the second day of the U19 World Championships today at Heraklion, Greece.
UA recruiting target Josh Jackson led the Americans with a double-double for the second straight day collecting 17 points and 10 rebounds over 26 minutes.
Croatia was playing without projected Top 5 NBA pick Dragan Bender because of a dispute over shoes. The Croatian federation told Bender he had to wear Jordan Brand shoes but he's under an exclusive contract to Adidas, according to Draft Express.
After an off day Monday, USA will finish up group pool play on Tuesday against Egypt at 6 a.m. Arizona time.
All the game stats, shooting charts and a replay of the game can be found on FIBA's thorough U19 page.
