The Wildcats line up to warm up again after being driven from the field by a monsoon storm Aug. 11, as the UA continues preparations for the upcoming season.
Outside of determining which kicker will start Week 1 against BYU between Josh Pollack and Lucas Havrisik, special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer has another battle to watch: punting.
It's a point of emphasis for the Wildcats this season and after Saturday's practice, the punters remained on the field for an additional 30 minutes to work on drills with Springer.
Arizona's punting unit a season ago finished ranked No. 126 out of the 130 teams in the FBS. The only schools worse than Arizona were Army, Navy, Air Force and Oklahoma State.
The punting competition comes down to Jake Glatting, Matt Aragon, and graduate transfer from Cal Dylan Klumph. All three will battle for the starting spot before the season opener against BYU.
