Notable accomplishment at UA: Lewis won the Jim Thorpe Award in 1990. He was an All-Pac-10 first-team selection in 1990 as well as the Pac-10 Player of the Year the same year.
Lewis also holds the UA record for most yards on interception returns in a season with 192 yards on seven interception returns. He was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.
