Team success has eluded Arizona baseball for most of this season.
But the Wildcats continue to accumulate individual accolades.
Arizona starter Luc Fladda heads to the dugout after 5⅔ innings against UConn, Feb. 19, 2026, at Hi Corbett Field.
Veteran left-hander Luc Fladda was named Big 12 co-Pitcher of the Week on Monday. He shared the honor with UCF’s Camden Wicker.
Fladda notched 11 strikeouts without walking a batter in 6⅔ scoreless innings last Thursday in a 6-0 victory over BYU. The transfer from Tulane retired 11 consecutive hitters at one point.
Fladda entered Tuesday night's game at Grand Canyon with a 3-1 record and a 4.92 ERA. He had a 49-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 56⅔ innings.
Fladda ranked sixth nationally in that statistic (9.80-1) and fourth in fewest walks allowed per nine innings (0.79).
Fladda is the second UA pitcher to be honored by the Big 12 in as many weeks, joining right-hander Smith Bailey.
