Former Arizona Wildcats golfer Erica Blasberg was found dead in her Las Vegas-area home Sunday.
The 25-year-old played at the UA from 2002 to 2004, winning six titles before turning pro. She appeared in one LPGA Tour event this year.
Henderson, Nev., police have not released the cause of death.
"I'm devastated. I'm shocked. I'm sad. I'm heartbroken," former UA coach Greg Allen said. "Every emotion has gone through me and my family and my wife right now."
Allen spent Monday afternoon listening to "Arizona Team Country Vol. I," a CD made by Blasberg for road trips.
"She was such a sweet, sweet kid off the golf course," he said. "But on the golf course, wow, was she fiery."
The Corona, Calif., native was a four-time American Junior Golf Association's All-American.

As a UA freshman, she was ranked No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index for most of the season, leading the Wildcats with a 71.33 stroke average and winning two events.
She won four tournaments as a sophomore, including the NCAA Central Regional, before joining the Duramed Futures Tour and then the LPGA in the fall.
UA assistant women's golf coach Laura Ianello, who played one year with Blasberg, said "she wowed everybody." Ianello said she "had an attitude but was awesome" on the course.
"I hope she's up with the angels," she said.
Allen said he called Blasberg "Skip," because she inexplicably did not know how to skip when she first came to the UA. That's how she was listed in his cell phone.
"I can't believe this happened," he said. "No one can believe that she's gone."
