The high school football season came to an end two weeks ago and Southern Arizona was chock-full of exhilarating games and memorable plays.

The Arizona Daily Star closely reviewed every play on the high school sports Twitter account from games of the week dating from Aug. 18 to Dec. 2.

From insane catches to eyebrow-raising moves, here are the best plays from the 2017 high school football season in Southern Arizona.

10. Pusch Ridge's Blake Reilly brings the hammer in the 3A state championship

9. Salpointe Catholic's Bijan Robinson dances around Phoenix St. Mary's to open the season

Did Dez Bryant catch the ball in the 2014 divisional round against the Packers? Not according to the referees. And per the refs in this game, Hayward caught it, which is why it makes the cut.

3. Marana kicker Jaime Avila nails a 60-yard field goal in practice
