On homecoming and senior night, the Salpointe Catholic Lancers cruised to a third consecutive 4A Kino Region title with a 42-14 victory over the Catalina Foothills Falcons Friday night.

Salpointe two-way senior Mario Padilla had three carries for 128 yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Padilla also tacked on four catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.

The Lancers advanced to a 9-0 record and will end the regular season next Friday at Casa Grande Vista Grande.
