Omar Ojeda
• Olympics: Athens, 2004, Beijing, 2008
• Local connection: Former UA record-setting diver and current UA diving head coach
• Feat: Ojeda, a native of Mexico, was a five-time All-American, a two-time Pac-10 Athlete of the Year and a national runner-up at Arizona. He set four school records as a Wildcat, all of which he still holds, and swept the three diving events at the 2001 Pac-10 Championships. Ojeda won 17 national championships in Mexico in 18 years with the Mexican national team. He qualified for the 2004 Games, but did not go because of what he called "political issues" in Mexico.
• Current: Ojeda took over the UA diving team in 2011 and was an assistant coach of the Mexican national team three years before that. He was inducted into the UA Hall of Fame in 2008, the same year he coached two Mexican divers to bronze medals in Beijing.
