Having already clinched a playoff bid, the FC Tucson soccer team is eying a bigger prize.
The men in black beat the host OC Blues 4-1 on Sunday in Fullerton, California, to close the regular season. FC Tucson (8-2-4) took over first place in the Premier Development League Mountain Division with the win and is now two points ahead of the Albuquerque Sol.
The Sol can win the division with a victory at Midland/Odessa on Monday night. A loss or tie by the Sol would make FC Tucson the division champs.
David Clemens had two goals Sunday as FC Tucson rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit. The men in black won a day after beating host Fresno 3-1 late Saturday night.
• The FC Tucson women closed the regular season with a 5-0 home win over Club Tijuana on Saturday night.
