The FC Tucson men’s soccer team moved closer to first place with a dominating win at BYU on Saturday night.
The men in black, who are 4-1-4 in Premier Development League play, moved within six points of Albuquerque, which has played one more game than FC Tucson.
FC Tucson, which tied BYU 2-2 on Friday night, got two goals from David Clemens and one from Justin Bileyu to build a 3-0 lead Saturday.
FC Tucson next hosts the Real Colorado Foxes on Friday and Saturday at the Kino Sports Complex.
The FC Tucson women beat Legends FC 3-2 at Kino on Saturday night after Mykaylin Rosenquist scored in the 90th minute to break a tie.
Sam Monahan and Analisa Marquez also scored for FC Tucson, which next plays in Yuma against the AZ Strikers on June 28.
