Being sent to the ECHL Toledo Walleye wasn't all bad for Tucson Roadrunners forward Colin Theisen; he's from Monroe, Michigan, about a 27-minute drive away. But he's happy to be back in Southern Arizona — and in the lineup, where he contributed a goal and an assist last weekend.
Tucson forward Josh Doan scored two goals Monday night as the Roadrunners (22-11-1-1) beat the Iowa Wild 3-1. Those upped his season total to 15, tied for ninth-best in the American Hockey League this season.
