Utah Jazz release Grant Jerrett

The Utah Jazz last week released one-year Arizona basketball player Grant Jerrett. Jerrett will be paid $947,000 as part of a guaranteed contract, but he’ll begin his third season as a pro basketball vagabond. Since leaving after his freshman season, Jerrett has earned an estimated $1.7 million, mostly in the NBA D-League. At 22, he’s still got time on his side but he’s not trending upward.
