SZA snuck out of the 2022 Met Gala as she felt anxiety
SZA has opened up about her mental health struggles in a new interview. The singer said it’s “hard not to fall into that weird hole of self-loathing” when your insecurities align with what others are saying about you. She left the 2022 Met Gala “as soon as Lenny Kravitz hit the stage” as her anxiety was “going crazy”. The Good Days singer “snuck out the back” and walked three blocks with no shoes on before taking a taxi back to her hotel. I had too much anxiety to wait for my cab in front of the crowd, and take pictures, and all those things. I didn't want to do that, SZA. The I Hate U singer then described herself as a “little dirty Cinderella running away with my shoes".
