“We haven’t seen damage this widespread" in years, a Tucson Electric Power spokesman said Saturday after the series of monsoon storms slammed the metro area Friday night.
"Currently, we're missing our only kangaroo, a capybara, and two African crested porcupines," said co-owner Geordi Davisson.
Tucson Electric Power has restored service to most of the 56,000 customers who lost it due to widespread damage from Friday's monsoon storms.
