Wisconsin will win if Bronson Koenig and his backcourt mates deliver some scoring
The starting frontcourt of Kaminsky, Sam Dekker and Nigel Hayes has accounted for 68.8 percent of UW’s scoring in the postseason. Those three got some help from the backcourt against North Carolina, with Koenig and Josh Gasser contributing two 3-pointers apiece and Zak Showalter and Traevon Jackson combining for 10 points off the bench. Koenig has hit a little bit of a slump, however. After going 9 of 17 of 3-point range during UW’s run to a Big Ten tournament title, he’s 5 of 15 from beyond the arc and 7 of 23 overall in the NCAA tournament. Kaminsky and Co. will get a lot of attention from Arizona in the paint, so it’ll be important for Koenig and others to knock down shots from the perimeter.
