Mt Lemmon Backside Rescue
This is a hoist rescue on Jan. 11, 2014 of a fall victim on the backside of Mt. Lemmon in Tucson, AZ. The rescue was performed by the Pima County Sheriff's Department Air and Search and Rescue Units. The patient suffered multiple fractures to include a broken vertebrae, resulting in limited mobility. Patient care was transferred to an awaiting Lifeline helicopter for transport to a local hospital.
